CARDINAL TEA DANCE

For the youngsters, a queer tea dance is a social event for the LGBTQ+ community to dance and celebrate. This tradition originated in the 1950s and 1960s in NYC and was a way for queer people to gather safely and express themselves in the face of discrimination.
